I haven't been looking at the home page, but the RSS feeds for UUA and UUWorld over a period of 30 hours had 3 errors checking every half an hour. But i have nothing to tell me what the errors were, I just know that all the other times the RSS feed successfully responded. But, that doesn't mean the home page wasn't returning blank pages. it is loading for me now at home.

I'm getting both sites right now and can't detect any downtime for UUWorld.org around the time you posted your entry. Does your browser generate a "Not found" error or simply go on hold?

I had a version of this problem when my wireless transmitter was generating its own IP addresses in addition to the ones assigned by the DSL modem, and I had to change the way the computers in my house received their IP numbers. The computers now use PPPoE, whatever that is! (I think this had something to do with some configuration of the servers that host UUA.org and UUWorld.org, but I've never been able to find out exactly what was happening.)

Please send information about service problems related to UUWorld.org to world@uua.org, noting any error messages, your browser and operating system, and the time of day. I'm eager to troubleshoot any problems.
