<p>Good point, the old Universalist Youth Groups paid for their cons and built Church buildings (which they shared with adults) as well &#8212;<br />
  I know when i questioned why the con fans didnt start raising money, i got the &#8220;they&#8217;re youth&#8221; comments as well as &#8220;they&#8217;re planning to&#8221;, anyone know if they did start that or how well they did?</p>

At our congregation, Jefferson Unitarian in Golden, CO, youth puts in a lot of effort for the Heiffer project and does bake sales etc to finance camp and other stuff. And have fun doing it. However, having recently watched the documentary &quot;Jesus Camp&quot; with its eleven year olds proselytizing I wouldn&#039;t go overboard.</description>
