Good point, the old Universalist Youth Groups paid for their cons and built Church buildings (which they shared with adults) as well -- 
  I know when i questioned why the con fans didnt start raising money, i got the "they're youth" comments as well as "they're planning to", anyone know if they did start that or how well they did?</description>

At our congregation, Jefferson Unitarian in Golden, CO, youth puts in a lot of effort for the Heiffer project and does bake sales etc to finance camp and other stuff. And have fun doing it. However, having recently watched the documentary "Jesus Camp" with its eleven year olds proselytizing I wouldn't go overboard.</description>
