Shooting in Knoxville

Alarming news from the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church, where a gunman open fired and seven people were hit.

I’m trying to remember if this was the church were my aunt sometimes attends. Keep solidarity in prayer and word. More later.

Later. According to WBIR, one person has died.

    I remember meeting their minister, Chris Buice, when he was in seminary. I was so impressed, I eventually chose to go to the same school.

    But a shooting is something no pastor can feel prepared for. Chris, there are folks out here who care about you and your congregation.
