		<description>when we were visiting Washington this year, we wondered up  from the convention center to the Gompers monument,  looking for places to eat.   We walked around the statue reading it, but missed seeing what he was keeping his eye on!  thanks for the enlightenment!   

I wonder what percent of the USA population knows who Gompers was.....
   5? 1%? less?
