Revival update
A quick note from New York. Revival turnout was smaller than I
expected — more about that when I get home — but the keynoter I
heard — the Rev. Dr. Gary Dorrien, of Union Theological Seminary has
made up my reading list for the next year.

You might like to also read “The New Evangelists: Yale Divinity School and the future of Protestantism” in the Yale Alumni Magazine by Warren Goldstein. It has anecdotes, which would be of interest to many Mainline ministers. For example there is a story about Rev. William Sloane Coffin debating Rev. Jerry Falwell on “Donahue.” Many comments by UCC ministers.
