Percentage holds among certified congregations
Jubilate, everybody: you’ve got two play-by-play commentaries of the incoming UUA congregation certification numbers. And I’m glad to say the 1.8-ish percent growth rate is persisting. Not perfect, but very, very gladsome when compared to last year’s blowout.
With 531 congregations reporting, I see a net increase of 1683 members in an aggregate membership of 91,115 members.
Note: I’m leaving out the UU Church of the Philippines as before, and assuming that the Federated Church, Sycamore, Illinois misreported its federation-partner’s membership (I’m assuming no change, at 10 Unitarian Universalists, even though it is down from 28 in the 2001-2 directory) . Also, unlike RevThom, I don’t include new churches in percentage increases, but class them as an independent achievement. (Holding at 108 members in 3 recently admitted congregations.)

Approaching 600 in certifications
With 599 UUA member congregations reporting, the facts remain about the same, given the same small caveats from last time. (No new “new congregations” added.)
Net membrship increase of 1684 out of 102,378 members. 1.64% increase. Will report back…
