You mention: "microformat plugin for WordPress" -- didn't know there was one, guess I'll ahve to install it myself. Thanks for the tip.

Presumably, Moveable Type, Drupal, and other blogging and CMS software have something equivalent....

I bet a location tag for anything with a physical location -- like a church -- will be worthwhile. Guessing either Google Maps will pick up the info or you can browse to a maps site (like Google again) to get directions.

Ditto the event microformat.

I've installed a microformat plugin for WordPress on this blog, but haven't tried it yet.

I'm also pondering the use of resume tags for ministerial packets.

Yes, your blog and my blog use XFN, which according to the Wikipedia article you cite is a microformat.

Aside from that, I'll wait to see what Firefox actually supports before I code for it. Going through the hundreds of pages of the two Web sites I maintain to add microformat tags will take a lot of time, and I don't want to bother adding microformat tags that basically do nothing (like XFN).

There's a <a href="http://microformatique.com/book/" rel="nofollow">good book on microformats</a> that's on my reading list. They have such great potential -- so simple and standardized. But I have yet to use them. When I do, I expect the first place will be calendars.
