		<description>Interesting, about copyright and the bible. Maybe it's time for someone (not me) to do a new translation, and license it under &lt;a href="http://www.creativecommons.org" rel="nofollow"&gt;creative commons.&lt;/a&gt;  That would be very cool.</description>

		<description>I'm putting together study notes for Galatians (keying the text to quotes from weighty Universalists and Unitarians).  I'm also planning to someday do this with Ephesians, Romans, and Matthew.  But I also discovered that if I choose to publish it, I will need to do so in KJV.  The NRSV (and other less archaic translations) are under copyright, and they do not grant permission to re-print any of the translation when the re-print amounts to an entire book of the Bible (like Galatians).

So open source it will be... even if it is KJV.
