The problem is that I love to eat them on a bagel with cream cheese. That's got to stop. I'll have to go to Wasa crackers with a dill garnish. Coming from New England and knowing that cod is becoming depleted is an astounding thought, and not in a good way. The waters in the 17th -19th centuries here were chock full of cod. Isn't there a website by someone in Monterey that keeps one up to date on the status of the world's fish and steers one to more sustainable fish choices? I love smoked herring and sardines in a can.
