The last of the buildings at Lombard College, in Galesburg, IL, which happens to be a gymnasium, is potentially going to be razed soon. If so, some members of my congregation in Davenport, IA will go down and do a little goodbye service. Any old Universalist text you think most appropriate Scott? Carl Sandburg, about whom I try to preach once a month because of my growing up in Galesburg and because he's an interesting character, was a member of the basketball team at Lombard, I do believe.
